Consumer Affairs
The VCA Board of Directors serves as the Cemetery Consumer Service Council (CCSC) for the State of Vermont. The VT CCSC Committee works in coordination with the national CCSC which is a non-profit association created for the sole purpose of assisting consumers in matters involving private cemeteries and memorial parks. As such, the CCSC provides a mechanism for informally resolving consumer complaints and inquiries about cemetery services or policies. The CCSC can serve as an alternative to costly and time-consuming lawsuits or other legal actions. Its services are available to the consumer at no cost.
